Yes, with the right design. Where a gateway does not support automatic recurring charges we build reminders, one-tap renewals and top-ups around it, so customers paying by ABA PayWay, Bakong KHQR or Wing can still keep a subscription running.
How does a web purchase reach the app?
The payment gateway confirms the payment to your server, which updates the customer's account immediately, so the credit or membership is in the app before the customer has closed the checkout page.
